Beer cocktails are definitely not in my wheelhouse. That doesn't mean I don't give them a taste once and a while. The difficulty is finding booze and ingredients that can stand up to beer. Below is a riff on a classic beer cocktail. If it doesn't strike you as delicious after you shake it up, the good news is you'll have plenty of ingredients that are dynamite on their own.

 

The Bourbon Express

2 oz. bourbon

.75 oz. orange juice

.25 oz. simple syrup

1 heaping bar spoon of peach marmalade (jam or preserves)
